Construction formwork is widely used, and during daily use, it’s important to pay attention to maintenance and care. So, how can we ensure proper storage and maintenance?
1. Pay attention to cutting. Construction templates come in various sizes, and it’s necessary to cut them according to different dimensions and construction requirements. For construction templates of different shapes and sizes, use a handheld electric saw for cutting. After cutting is complete, be sure to seal the edges carefully to prevent damage to the construction templates.
2. Properly protect the surface finish of the formwork. During use, take care to minimize damage such as scratches, dents, or debris falling onto the surface. Ensure that the formwork’s surface remains smooth, intact, clean, and tidy. Especially in concrete construction, a clean and smooth formwork surface is crucial for guaranteeing the quality of concrete workmanship and enhancing the overall uniformity of the surface.
3. Store properly. After removing the formwork, use a scraper to thoroughly clean the surface of the formwork. After prolonged use, be sure to apply oil regularly, stack the formwork neatly, and protect it from rain, sunlight, and wind to prevent deformation and aging caused by changes in the external environment.
The above are the points that should be noted when using construction formwork in daily operations. Only by paying close attention to every detail of both use and storage can we extend its service life and improve its turnover rate!
